DEVONthink Server comes with a built-in web server to broadcast databases on a network, especially intended for collaborative work. With DEVONthink 4, we added new features and updated the interface. Here are some of the highlights. #devonthink #collaboration #teamwork buff.ly/opKYD3E

I want all of my bookmarks in a giant unsorted heap with just enough ML to quietly categorize them and fuzzy incremental search like DevonTHINK / NVAlt but 2025 tech and I also want to submit to / pull from the Wayback Machine automagically or archive them some other way and I don’t feel greedy.

Clipping web content is a much used feature in DEVONthink. There are numerous ways to import web content into DEVONthink, e.g., with our browser extension, with bookmarklets, or by printing. To see all options in one place, here is a list of them. #devonthink #capture #clipping #mac buff.ly/YsjJkCq

I'm generally happy to try new things. Currently I write papers and talks in LaTeX and many quick notes in Markdown with minimal math.

Where are my Devonthink-using historians?

My main hub for tutorials and such is down or defunct. I'm moving back to Devonthink, but I want to see what schemas others are using.

Please save me from myself.

I finally got truly immersed in DEVONthink. I've always been in awe of it, but It's also always overwhelmed me a bit with all of the different ways to organize information (it still does, but I have enough of a foothold now to figure it out). Databases, tags, groups, smart groups, and then all […]

I use Devonthink to store everything, which does the search for me (not that its accurate; my sources are mostly in French, with a lot of handwriting, which is why organization is really key). Thanks!

DEVONthink To Go 3.8.10 has just arrived in the App Store. This maintenance update fixes issues related to Markdown rendering, saving formatted notes, converting, and clipping. It also correctly hides items exluded from search.

I signed up for a #docker account & downloaded the Docker Desktop application onto the MacBook Air ¹ I use for #devonthink sync.

I'd intended to spend a few minutes adapting a #python script to grab a few RSS feeds and post them to my #mastodon account.

But this Docker thing, there's a […]

Chiming in on this five month old thread to also voice my support for Typst in Devonthink @devontechnologies.bsky.social. Or at least to be able to see the raw text of *.typ files 🙏

By the way, I wanted to save this post for later note-taking, so I captured it as #markdown with #devonthink. The latter's #criticmarkup highlighting is really useful.

The menu bar is great place to access lightweight utilities, like XMenu or DEVONthink's Sorter. However, it is also a limited space where chaos can quickly break out. We therefore want to show you a great utility that will help you clean things up. #devonthink #tooltip #freeware buff.ly/SlnQx0Y

If you want to use AI in DEVONthink, you can choose between server-based and local models. Whether it's for privacy reasons or just the novelty, running AI locally on your Mac may be something you're considering. But how does that work? #devonthink #ollama #lmstudio #ai #llm buff.ly/SNBPOjg
