You can make an AIR app with captive runtime and then replace the swf inside with any version. This one had a few sizing issues that I fixed with a swf decompiler/editor (JPESX)

The new version of my #BinaryNinja plugin Obfuscation Analysis (v1.2) adds recursive function inlining in the decompiler.

It collapses call-heavy code into a single function; analysis, constant propagation, DCE and other analyses work across boundaries.

IntelliJ IDEA includes an open-source Java decompiler called Fernflower.
But did you know that you can use it as a standalone CLI program?
And what's even better – it's now available on Homebrew!
To install it, run the `brew install fernflower` command in the terminal.

wow I spent a fuckton of time writing a compiler/decompiler for Observable 1.0 and now it is ISC licensed in Notebook Kit and it does Typescript and Notebook 2.0 syntax and everything! This is amazing.

Reverse engineering compiled code to editable code with a decompiler. Usually also entails reinterpreting decompiled output into more readable code, and/or dealing with deliberate obfuscation when working with malicious programs.

you might get better mileage out of plugging in the decompiler from ghidra. or maybe call up the hexrays people to let you host it in the same way you do for msvc

This is INSANE. For one, this solves the problem of needing a decompiler for modding, which is obviously great. But nothing tops the sheer archaeological value of this.

Bon, j'ai beau jouer à la version décompiler de Zelda OOT sur Steam Deck. Ça n'égale pas la version 3DS.

Et la version de Majora's Mack sur 3DS est blindée de bonnes idées.

Debugging? They don't know how.

Again, I learned COBOL in 1984. Do they have a decompiler? The original code (not likely). From what Lo-Mo is saying is a complete rewrite in JAVA. Dumb. It would take at least 5 years to create the specs and more to code, test, and implement. Snake oil!
