I learnt a lot about contrails and how to mitigate them. Also the conference had a nice mix of industry & civil society, which enabled different perspectives.

Thanks to @jeppejuul.bsky.social @sorenhave.dk and many others for a fantastic inaugural #CopenhagenContrails conference. We can see a clear opportunity to reduce the heating impact of aviation - now we just need to get more companies & policymakers on board!

As a co-organizer I’m of course somewhat biased, but being new in this crowd I am after the first day of the #copenhagencontrails conference blown away by the efforts being put into this issue by scientists, front-runner airlines and other industry players, policy wonks and NGO people like myself.

We have gathered a broad group of people at #CopenhagenContrails Conference to discuss the science and baiting of contrails and their climate impact. It is time to act!
