Hey, does anyone know how to configure a #codeberg #ci pipeline that automatically builds on tagged commits and releases it into Codeberg/Forgejo Maven Repo.

The idea is to deploy my Java based cab4j Project (https://codeberg.org/fuxle/cab4j ) for use in other projects

@whitequark Interesting! I’ve been using @statichost for a while now which is compatible with Codeberg. This seems barebones but if it works, it works!

Three issues and some rough napkin math later and about 5% of the issues ever on the codeberg is from us.
About 6% is us if you ignore anything closed.

Hot take: You know why Github won the opensource community over and got so much market share?

THEY MADE THE CODE THE FIRST THING YOU SEE.

It's that simple. I'm tired of sourceforce, codeberg, gitlab, and all the rest that show me some landing page of garbage.

However, I started to notice complex problems surrounding the move of the Android project. This resulted in my motivation getting less by the day. Arcticons was possible because of the ease of use of GitHub. Codeberg is amazing, but not at the same level at this time.

A while ago I announced that we were planning to move to Codeberg. It seemed like a good plan with everything surrounding GitHub.
Fantastic work has been done by our amazing contributors, and I can't thank them enough for all the help.

As I was cleaning up my GitHub repos and migrating what I can to Codeberg, I ran across this long forgotten gem - a colleciton of U.S. state information - flags, photos, seals, twitter and facebook accounts, all kinds of things.

Sadly it was abandoned 8 years ago, but much of the content is […]

Just migrated #cityofglass from Github to Codeberg while in the process of setting up my new laptop. This includes design docs, image source files, and the Ink and Godot projects.

What I did for my Hugo sites, I auto-clone from Codeberg to Github or Gitlab then use that for CFpages.

But yes, @cloudflare.social should support Codeberg!

Moving what I can to Codeberg from GitHub, especially my fediverse related items. It's a bummer that Netlify and Cloudflare Pages don't offer connections to Codeberg.

I see there is Codeberg Pages I could use for these instead.

codebergに移行してもいいかもしれないけど、apkitとか全体的にCIを結構使ってる都合上無理だったりする (Forgejoのセルフホストはうまく行かない + Codeberg CIは申請必要だったはず)

I so support that. I am hence not using GitHub and after joining new job offer moving all code to Codeberg codeberg.org. A concise way and good way to actually keep the code and community limited to what matters. Its like BlueSky of Twitter. Very clean and concise.

Got my first #forgejo contribution accepted: https://codeberg.org/forgejo/forgejo/pulls/9973. Hopefully, codeberg would deploy it soon to allow us to continue migration from Pagure.
