bit of an unfair comparison as halo was a premiere first party shooter and COD2 is a compromised console port, surely a better comparison would be the premire first party shooter for the 360's launch, perfect dark zero! hang on i'm getting a call

Bobby was, as was Mustang, a highly decorated high school band director in Texas. They were both amazingly overflowing with talent. I miss them.

That depends entirely on the person. No one game will appeal to all new gamers. For example, I knew an older guy who had a propensity for WWII films and stories, he played CoD2 and loved it. Another person loves music and family fun, got into gaming via Guitar Hero Wii.

I will probably always remember the first time I played COD2. I just don’t wanna go through reinstalling all 6 of my CD-ROMs for the PC version.

This same thing happened at the launch of Xb360. Disc based games were $49.99 then CoD2 came out at the launch of XB360 at $59.99. The $60 price was standard going forward from there.
