Beautiful. What is the difference between the Clarsach and the Harp? It looks smaller, but beyond that I’m at a loss…

Umm, yes.
(Looks guiltily at daughter's two pedal harps, electric lever, clarsach & Paraguyan... though the smaller, straight soundboard pedal harp was specifically bought for moving around rehearsals when she was playing in four different orchestras at once)

Looking forward to bringing the 3 Scottish harps to a live session on Friday for BBC Radio 3’s In Tune with Petroc Trelawny from the Royal Highland Hotel in Inverness! Listen in for lever, bray and wire-strung clarsach tunes and some chat, as well as songs from Julie Fowlis and a Gaelic choir.

I recently started learning the Clàrsach (Celtic lever harp) and this morning my harp teacher noticed my hedgehog dungarees and asked if I like hedgehogs.
I was also wearing hedgehog socks and have a hedgehog tattoo, I am building a house out of hedgehogs I am not chill about them at all

When Ophelia returns from the woods,
gathering herbs along Water of Leith,
she asks me if I remember the hour
the world was born from womb of Mother Earth,
so I strum strings of my polished Clarsach
and sing the Lay of Margaret Queen of Alba.

Just leaving a clarsach (Scottish harp) concert and a) I truly love clarsach so much, haven't heard it live in years, and b) I kept thinking about THE RIVER HAS ROOTS by Amal El-Mohtar. If you're yet to read it, please do so. I believe the audiobook actually has harp music so I must get hold of it.
