During Covid lockdowns, had to continue business at usual, but use news tools, develop new content, find/create policies & procedures. Leaders and managers had to keep a helicopter view of what was going on, without seeing it. Had to trust your team members. Hard for micromanagers! #CILIPconf24

First to speak is Sara Ewing, a Lecturer in Academic Literacies at Goldsmiths, University of London. She decided not to prepare for this (kind of) When teaching, she often asks students to spend 5 minutes generating ideas, which she uses for the foundation of the class. #CILIPconf24
