At an AES event several years ago, a customer kindly pointed out that some of my earlier drawings had somewhat incorrect colouring, as back then I was drawing from my specimens and hadn't even considered that they might be faded. Well, I'm now pleased to share my updated cecropia silkmoth...

I'm planning to recolour my cecropia silkmoth drawing (as I made the mistake of copying the faded colours of my specimen) and then putting that and this onto a single print, thought it worth letting you know in case you'd rather wait to see what that'll look like.

funny stockings. The wings are pretty too
they are saturniidae, so their mouths are vestigial. Much like my favorite (cecropia), I presume they don't really get a long lifespan but, beautiful ephemeral creatures nonetheless. Fated to love the short-lived friends
