Yeah Thursday was a weird episode. Little more silly and cartoony than Gates has been lately. I mean it’s not usually super heavy drama, but the cupcake ordeal and Chelsea’s YOU’VE BEEN ROBBED bit and Pamela & Dani with Andre was a lot of silly for one day

Re Frogs

It's a clip from a comic in a comic book. There are two panels. In the left panel, a dog wearing a zoot suit has his arm around a picto while two figure in the dark clothing adjust their faces. The dogs says, "DON'T CONVERT VITAL THEORETICAL PARXIS INTO REIFIED IDEOLOGY! DROP YOUR PICTO CHARACTER-ARMOR AND GO FOR THE GUSTO!" In the right panel, the dog is standing to the left of frame while the other characters are a robot alien, a little girl with crossed eyes and a dripping water pistol, a smiling guy in overalls with a pipe and a toolkit, and less cartoony dog, more like Rin Tin Tin, and hippie's idea of an Indian princess. The princess says, "GEE, I GUESS WE'VE BEEN BARKING UP THE WRONG TREE!", and the dog and the toolkit guy say, "ARF! WOOF! ARF!"

Probably Kinney and Malvrides in Anarchy Comics #2 (they all were #2)

Day 18 - Deal

The Osgood twins and their Osgood Box. The device was supposed to be used as a last resort to maintain the deal struck between Zygon and humans to live in peace.

This is how Adeleine grew up throughout the years in my Kirby and Sonic Crossover. Ado and Adeleine are the same person in my opinion and my crossover, so the design of Ado matches Adeleine with same eyes, eye lashes before hitting 18, and less cartoony arms that Ado has in official artwork. Later on, she wears a dark teal and dark gray skirt (I think that's a skirt anyways) to match the artwork of Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. Her later design comes from Star Allies with the more light teal and light gray skirt, with a gold button, and grew a small hair on her big forehead. She later grew up in her life and eventually becoming 18, she chooses a different outfit to match her large appearance, she also upgraded her paintbrush to have a blade that she can pull out with a star on it that acts like a button to summon the brush or blade when she likes to. She brought a new beret with a teal heart. She also has a different smock with white sleeves and a larger skirt, with X on her above and on her shoes, a reference to her early Kirby Manga Maina appearances. The blade idea came from the Japanese YouTuber who animates and drew Adeleine with a blade brush. Adeleine in Dream Land 3 is 6 years old, Adeleine in Kirby 64 is 10 years old, Adeleine in Kirby Star Allies is 13 years old, and Adeleine in my Crossover is 18, all of these also in my crossover and they're design to fit with Adeleine getting older and more experienced, the experienced part is hinted in Star Allies when she explains why she was gone for 18 years (in the Japanese version of Star Allies) forgot to mention Adeleine has painted nails and a paint teal heart on her cheek, a reference to Artist Kirby with paint on his cheek. the Adeleine y'all see me drawing is an adult Adeleine, and the younger Adeleine are only there so I can explain Adeleine's backstory or use them in drawings of Kirby games.

a curious coping technique

A short, 4 panel comic strip with the Limbus Company ship "heathmael" as its main subject matter. This ship focuses on the relationship between the characters Heathcliff and Ishmael. Their manager, Dante, is also featured.

Panel 1 consists of Dante with the hands of their clock and the flames on their head drooping down to signify their concern/disappointment due to what they're witnessing.

Dante's text bubble reads: "Ishmael... Heathcliff... this can't be healthy for either of you..."

Panel 2 features Heathcliff and Ishmael dressed up as each other's love interests (canonically implied in Ishmael's case, confirmed in Heathcliff's). They look like they were about to start making out, but were caught just before they could start. Their faces portray their shock at the silhouette of their manager opening the door.

Panels 3 and 4 are close-ups of Heathcliff and Ishmael's faces, now shouting at Dante. Their expressions have morphed into even more cartoony versions, with neither displaying pupils or irises (this was inspired by anime facial expressions).

Panels 3 and 4 are surrounded with 4 text bubbles. The text bubbles, in order, read:

Heathcliff: "SHUT UP! You can't tell us how to cope!"
Ishmael: "I'm sitting next to him, NOT on top of him!"
Heathcliff: "Good thing we've still got our clothes on, yeah?"
Ishmael: "Don't you dare bring this up during our next counselling session, Dante..."

I’m doing #RandomGameSaturday again with an old favorite of mine that I bring up sometimes. It’s RibbitKing! Complete with the original GameStop sticker gunk from 2004. It’s a cute little game about golfing with frogs on alien planets. Great to play with friends too. Check it out!

The box for RibbitKing on PlayStation 2 perched atop my old entertainment center next to a 5” PVM. The box art displays the cast of cartoony characters and one of the frogs they play the sport Frolf with.

The same case now opened and displaying the two discs of RibbitKing. Disc 1 on the left contains the main game, and disc 2 on the right (RibbitKing Plus!) holds a collection of short 3D cartoons that the player can unlock as they progress through the game’s story.

I don't need Pokémon to be photo realistic. I think they should lean in the other direction and go for a very stylised cel shaded look - instead we're in a weird uncanny valley of cartoony characters in these odd, very flat looking and sparse 3D worlds.
