Just had a very old lady I'd never met before look me right in the eye and say Ha Ha. Awkward.

Happened in the bread aisle when I took a loaf off the shelf & every single slice fell out the already open end & onto the floor.

What's the etiquette around telling a little old lady to bugger off?

"How are you feeling, Darling?"

"Um, not all that good, Blackadder. I rather hoped I'd get through the whole show; go back to work at Pratt and Sons, keep wicket for the Croydon Gentlemen, marry Doris. Made a note in my diary on my way here. Simply says, "Bugger.""

...And most of all, he loves to outwit and kill absolute bastards who want to ruin the world. He's a patriot, proud to serve his country. Doing his job well is the thing that brings him the most satisfaction.

How much of that was in the Daniel Craig version? Bugger all. 3/3

Max is a good nurse, and a blanket. (See current view below). Some days are better than others, today isn't. MS is a bugger.

Oh bugger. That is a long ass time to wait
November 11, 2025 at 1:50 PM
Dude, that sucks. Fingers crossed it’s early enough, but you seem like a stubborn bastard, so hopefully you can conquer the bugger. 👍

The second Darling said 1917, I was like, "Bugger".
It's telling that scheming, snarking Blackadder's last words in the main series were, "Good luck, everyone."

I don't think I'm particularly unusual in thinking that with the menopause, I wish my knockers would just...reabsorb and disappear! Done your job, thank you, bugger off!

Much love to you. So glad you found the dodgy bits!

I mean that sure seems like the hand she's attempted to play here, doesn't it? Daft bugger.

Dit.

Blackadder: How are you feeling, Darling?

Darling: Erm, not all that good, Blackadder — rather hoped I’d get through the whole show; go back to work at Pratt & Sons; keep wicket for the Croydon gentlemen; marry Doris… Made a note in my diary on my way here. Simply says, “Bugger.”

White #Afrikaners are taking a stand against the #lies of #realdonaldTrump about their being persecuted in #SouthAfrica. It appears this might bugger #ElonMusk who has been pushing these #lies past the #gullible and #corrupt #POTUS

There has been a mouse living in my wall for a couple of weeks now.
The problem is that I can't, for the life of me, figure out how it's getting in and out! I know it can't survive without getting out for food and water.
I'm not a fan of the little bugger.
November 11, 2025 at 12:25 PM
Indeed it is. Silly bugger.

Does anyone else have the "You have one notification and unread message and it's the same one on your screen right now and there's bugger-all you can do about it" problem here?

Hmmm, I managed to bugger up a PostgreSQL migration, so I've turned the VM off, I'll restore it from a back-up. Doing that… the server rack current dropped from 18A to 16A. A saving of over 20W of power.
