Later I can bypass the PWM and control the motor via Arduino + motor driver (L298N, BTS7960, etc.) for Unity/Kinect or Bottango show sync.

I got this Bottango animatronic kit to suss out a design for the eyes and mouth of a tiki pole I'm trying to finish, but once I opened it up and put it together, I was surprised how cute he was. When Teresa saw it playing through a routine, she broke into a huge smile and said it was adorable.

Just built my new Cogbrow Bottango Kit! (opted to put on a santa hat instead of the pirate hat)

It's looking great and the build was pretty easy.

The software is really neat! It’s called Bottango and it’s free! I’m used to using Maya and a lot of Bottango ended up feeling really intuitive thankfully! It’s designed for animatronics, so it played nice with my Arduino chip and motors once I knew what buttons to hit :)

This was a Bottango rig test for my animatronic personal project! Finished my first animation today, will make two others, and then load them onto the Arduino chip for button-triggered playback! 🦾
