i think the way people obsess over Movement in shooters these days is really embarrassing and annoying but deadlock's is really fun, there's wacky stuff you can do but the bare minimum dash jump slide bhop slide is really all you need to know for a while and it's easy to do and feels really good

unrelated to this silly stuff, but i learned you can bunnyhop in megabonk so now i have silly slide bhop movement tech on all my dudes its soo fun

Contacted support for a warranty claim due to my mouse wheel not registering every scroll. After submitting the claim, I realized it was caused by a hidden BHOP Mode setting 🤦♂️

This specific bhop map i hold close to my heart because at the time it was added to the csgo server i played on, i had all 765 maps completed. it was my birthday and i was coming down on acid and i was like “damn i wish there was a new bhop map to play” and i checked and this was added hours prior
my friend asked me to come run the most popular map on the cs2 server he admins because he wanted a good recording of it, i havent bhopped in months and hit this in less than 10 mins 😭 im never losing my muscle memory huh

Not to mention the movement, 2 block tall jumps, ledge grabs/climbing, rolling to reduce fall damage, and dagger tech to bhop. The combat feels very movement shooter-esque during PvP cause of this.

quake had tactics; stack management, map control, etc. but it's not as apparent when you can rocket jump bhop around the map like a lunatic; tactics is only one dimension of the game
meanwhile valorant has random spray, no movement tech on base character but forces more play around util and prefire
