Normally I'm a big fan of trying to get figures that come with stands to balance without the stands but that's not happening for the incredibly back-heavy VF-31C Super Siegfried (at least not in a way I'm willing to try with Macross Chogokin hips.

Wave is reissuing their 1/100 scale VF-0 Battroid kit that can be built as an A or S type. Again it seems like they still have the license for this size.

I had so many sketches of the VF-1S in my notebooks - almost as many as I had sketches of the Enterprise. I had a certain muscle memory to the drawing of the head of the battroid… I’ll bet I could still sketch it.

Plane most of the time but there are attacks where they shift between gerwalk before killing the enemy in battroid and flying off as a plane.

i need to double check his move list but i think he actually is missing an attack all the other ones have. Variable Combat I think it's called? All the rest of Delta Squad have it and it's a typical Macross Fighter Mode > Battroid Mode type beat but I think he lacks it

It does feel a bit strange for the Valkyries. Consider how balanced the fighter and battroid forms were for different situations in other SRW games.

I wonder who ended up with the Cataphract from my favorite issue. Looks like it was a Zentraedi Glaug kitbashed with some VF Battroid parts. I read issue five to pieces when I was a kid, was overjoyed it still held up when I rebought them all as an adult.

Final assemble proved harrowing. A Polycap in the shoulder kept coming loose and the cockpit kept jamming inside the torso. I think she was worth the stress. #macross glamour shots soon(tm)!

I recently finished a YF-21 build and struggled with how good the other modes look on this Valk. My solution, which probably is the wrong one, was to keep it in Battroid and buy a 1/72 fighter mode!
