On your book’s edition page, replace “editions” with “shelves” in the URL!

This provides insight on how readers categorize your book, which could help marketing, too.

Writing Tip: Bated vs Baited

BATED: Demonstrate nervousness or excitement

E.g. I was waiting with bated breath. (Anticipation)

BAITED: To set a trap, to be lured

E.g. I was baited into going to the event.

Tricky one. I never base them on anyone real, that's for sure. In my current story, some were inspired by characters from old TV shows, but only in a physical sense. They all developed their own personalities.
