a large number of people in the bdsm/kink community have auhd or are on the spectrum & miss red flags of predator “doms”.

this isnt talked about enough & ive seen wayy too many predators get passes for shit that shouldnt get a pass.

I cannot overstate how often I have a great interpersonal experience with a fantastic person and find out later that they're autistic, ADHD, or AuHD.

These are friend-shaped people to me!

Any other neurodivergent, AuHD individuals like me get a moment of silence in their head? Like, they have music going, they're chewing gum, they're busy with their hands, and then notice that their mind is silent for a split second, but it's only silent until you realize it's silent?

I'm AuHD 2. The ADHD part of it was huge once I realized I wasn't just autistic. I had to get a Kindle for books, though I will still buy reference 😂 I try to cultivate a good collection of stories and games because I get sick so much, it's nice to have something to do while you're not feeling great

It is, isn't it? It's such a #neurodivergent / #AuHD thing I think! Honestly it's one of the big reasons I ended up in Animal Communication. As an autistic, everyone is always telling you that you're "too sensitive" & the animals helped me understand that it's one of my biggest strengths.

The more I learn about ADHD, which I was diagnosed with,the more I think I have AUHD, more on the autistic spectrum. Every person with ADHD I've ever met is notoriously late for everything. 'I' am VERY anal about punctuality. Anxiety does not allow lateness, I obsess. ⏱️⏳⏰ Amongst other things.

I think one of the hardest things for me to process over the past couple years was my schizo diagnosis being changed to DID & AuHD & having the vast majority of my anxieties & paranoia validated by multiple mental health professionals

Gotta love four-bying down a rocky dirt road out in the middle of somewhere; If this was not what I was doing with my life, the former me would be very disappointed
