A short, satellite-image-heavy, note on recent construction works around the Pakkoku Airport in Burma's Magway. In response to rapid losses in Arakan and Chin states, the Junta is transforming a disused civilian airport into an active military airbase.

A year ago the Arakan Army didn't control a single township in #Rakhine, now they're on the verge of taking the entire state, controlling around 95% of the territory already. Raskhine could be the first state in #Myanmar 🇲🇲 to be lost by the junta.
