She is the best Ginny ever and so happy to share your turkey! Hope she is comfortable, and very glad for the price difference for your budget.
(I checked into animal Rx for Lyme injection antibiotics. HUGE price difference. But the animal vials had formaldehyde so it was shelf stable for farmers.)

It's not as bad as it sounds. I'm on a course of antibiotics. I'm just glad it's not pinkeye or something.

Thank you, trying. Covid recovery for 2 weeks then this shit for 2 weeks, a month of sick now. recovery is taking a long ass time. Second round of antibiotics. I’ve never been this sick except when I had typhoid when I was 8 years old.
Be careful out there. Remember your Covid habits!

Here’s to the boys who think they are doing the lords work but really, they are just keeping women from getting antibiotics for their UTIs.

Well I had a tooth extraction just like that and you need to put a lot of ice, antibiotics, anti-inflammatories and a gaze to hold the bleeding.
I do believe they told you not to talk, eat or drink in the hour and half after and now you'll be drinking cold stuff and onlynin 2 days you can start with

Much the same for me, more the pinnacle of human achievement than giant wayfaring machines, vaccines/antibiotics, internet, & such, is animal-free/vegan ice-cream! It's like, yah, this represents everything "unnatural" we can do & we smushed it together into the perfect powerful but delightful form.

Still sick with whatever this is. Doc called me in some antibiotics, steroids and cough stuff, but most likely won’t get here until Monday. Meanwhile, I continue to feel like absolute trash. Keeping a low to mid-grade fever (for me, I run on the cool side) headache and nausea.

Take our quiz: How much do you know about antimicrobial resistance?
This week we had some terrifying news from the World Health Organization: Antibiotics are failing us. A growing number of bacterial infections aren’t responding to these medicines—including common ones that affect the blood, gut, and urinary tract. Get infected with one of these bugs, and there’s a fair chance antibiotics won’t help. The scary truth is that a growing number of harmful bacteria and fungi are becoming resistant to drugs.

As @aprilhayes.bsky.social puts it, 'Even tiny amounts of antibiotics can help bacteria evolve defences that make them harder to kill later. These bacteria become fitter, more adaptable, and able to survive doses strong enough to treat human infections.'

Growing cocktail of medicines in world’s waterways could be fuelling antibiotic resistance
Every flush sends traces of our medicines into rivers. When antibiotics mix with common drugs like painkillers or hormones, bacteria can evolve to resist treatment.
