Genuinely idk about reylo I don't watch star wars, all I know is that calling it abusive means calling a lot of heterosexual slop abusive. Which I am by no means against. I do not disagree with a lot of heterosexual slop romanticizing abuse.

I say all of this as someone very sensitive to age gap relationships and who genuinely, fundamentally Does Not Like ameliko. Like it's not a trigger but it genuinely makes me uncomfortable for reasons I do not care to divulge publicly. That doesn't mean I think it's fucking abusive tho

Ameliko is like if reylo was actually interesting and built on mutual respect (and also written for tiny babies) and I still just fundamentally dislike it and yet there's somehow STILL discourse about it (it's just age gap instead of abuse allegations) like I'm so confused
Reylo discourse has always fascinated me so much because it's such a normal ass ship. It is the most basic bitch ship ever. Who are we yelling at

As someone who once neutral abt ameliko, this episode LITERALLY rewired something in my brain and look at the ship in a such deeper level.

I know that Liko's Charcadet is almost certainly going to be an Armarouge. But...if for some reason it becomes a Ceruledge, that means we can nickname Liko and Amethio "Soublades Soulmates". I just wanna get that out there.

to be clear, I am a multishipper 90% of the time and am cool and supportive of most ships! there's a few that give me the ick for personal reasons, but overall I'm pretty chill! rn, my brain wants to think about ameliko, but the likodot thoughts will absolutely be back soon
