it oinly seems that way from within the christian cuolture. They conditioned you to think everything is either good or bad.It either has to be rational or irrational. But advaita hinduism is very rational. Its the yoga of knowlege.

All the other theistic schools … stop with three things, a triangle: God, individual, and the world. … Advaita Vedanta goes beyond that and says that there is a deeper reality, a higher reality. Beyond the individual, beyond the world, and beyond God even.

The "transcendental unity of religion" guys might have a point that a common metaphysics of apophasis/wahdat al-wujud/Advaita tends to develop across traditions and point to a shared truth that religions point to, but this only means that the form and content of revelation doesn't pertain to this

Been pondering some issues related to advaita/non-dual philosophy lately. Seems like if you actually believe it you are compelled to be a morally severe ascetic and taking it to mean everything is made up and it's all vibes is the exactly wrong conclusion to draw.

Advaita: You are That.
Law of Assumption: What you assume, you are.
80/19/1: Show up, sustain, realize—you already are.
Nonduality, assumption, and [true] identity; They are the same realization from different angles: You are what you consciously accept as real.

In Advaita Vedanta, the non-dualistic school of thought, the ultimate truth is that Atman (self) and Brahman (ultimate reality) are one. The sense of incompleteness and desire is due to ignorance (avidya) of this truth www.hindu-blog.com/2025/08/hung...

Sometimes we sit with the vultures:
There is no tension in death, only in our anticipation of it as a culminating event rather than its ‘aliveness’ in every moment.

Advaita Hinduism, specifically, but 'wokeness' is the path to mindfulness and mindfulness is the path to Hinduism, which has really been the religion of the far left for a long time. Hinduism has the t9ols to overcome the christian duality

The goal of Hinduism, and Advaita Vedanta in particular, is liberation. That's not exactly the something as liberalism, but if you really want to understand liberalism, it helps to understand liberation first.
