Today’s viewing: #AchineseGhostStory (Ching Siu-Tung, 1987) the classic Hong Kong fantasy/horror film that blends comedy, romance, and action reminiscent of Shaw Brothers in the 1960s and into the 1970s. Very entertaining matched with excellent filmmaking.

Basically an Hong Kong hommage of #EvilDead, set in Feudal China. Less blood, same amount of violence and comedy, way more crazy camera movement.
Surprisingly nice practical effect work and make-up.
