#ZimaOS
zimaOS seems cool. I may try it out in a VM on my proxmox server. If it's good might move it to bare metal, but it seems to want to manage the zfs so unsure if I'll have to do a big disk clearing migration from my existing TrueNAS setup. Any selfhosters have experience with zima or migrating to it?

-Spend big bux on Unraid?
-Just go with TrueNAS lol?
-Maybe a little OpenMediaVault?

This was supposed to be a simple #ZimaOS install on a Beelink mini PC running a RAID 5 on 4x4TB external drives. Unfortunately that idea was doomed from the start, however I was able to salvage the project, and create automatic backups of my data.

Users upgrading from ZimaOS v1.4.4 or later to v1.5 will get Plus activation for free, but new users (or those with older versions) will have to pay $29 for a full license. (Or deal with limited functionality... or use an alternate OS).
