shooting at 'em spins them around so that you can reposition as necessary, sword does nothing though. so ideally you wanna destroy the enemies inside by meleeing or chucking the sword and then shoot the circles to zigzag until you're out of that segment

A Western Conifer Seedbug (Leptoglossus occidentalis) in the garden today...
This brown insect, which feeds on the sap of developing conifer cones, has a distinctive zigzag pattern of alternating light and dark bands that run along the outer wing edges on the flaring sides of the abdomen. It has long antennae and six long legs, especially the rear pair. It will be seeking crevices for overwintering now autumn is here.

I have tried hard to match my friends in their pessimism about the world (is it just my friends?), but I keep encountering people who, in spite of all the evidence of terrible things happening everywhere, give me hope. We don’t have to engage in grand, heroic actions to participate in the process of change. Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world. Even when we don’t “win,” there is fun and fulfillment in the fact that we have been involved, with other good people, in something worthwhile. We need hope. Really beautiful day for an outing! Like just the perfect sort of overcast✨
Foreground my pretty face with my sunscreen heinously blotchy leaving my upper lip looking super dark and the blue vein to either side of my mouth looking like I just had a blue slushie. Also the area around my eyes looks totally crazy with the color contrast of sunscreen badly applied. And even with all that I look pretty good ✨ There’s like a crazy mackerel sky over town looking a little like asymmetrical zigzag bubblewrap or the surface in a pot of curds and whey there’s some hydrangeas in the background & there was like a juvenile bald eagle or a peregrine falcon or something flying over like a minute before this it was just magnificent
