The Costner thing was bugging me, but it finally came to me. Back around issue 15-20? Techno was trying to clone a new body, originally planning to use Paul Newman, then opting for Zemo's body.
Zemo destroyed that attempt, and then this happened. So it was a tease that Fixer/Techno was out there.

Thanks. :) And when I was thinking who to include besides some members from the actual comics, my mind went to Zemo. Dark Avengers isn't a team of long history so I had to make this a unique lineup and I guess true to real life, villains including a Nazi get hired by a billionaire or the government.

That's an awesome lineup! The mix of characters from both the Dark Avengers and the Thunderbolts really showcases the complexity and depth of these groups. Zemo and Moonstone are particularly intriguing choices. What inspired your combination?

You also have Mod Jack's least favorite part of the quest, the Mahjarrat power up, he didn't like how so many Mahjarrat stories were set up when outside of Zemo, Bilrach and Azzanadra none could realistically be followed up on. Outside of that the power creep of the Mahjarrat.

As long as the core was villains trying to be good, which wasn't the hook but was what sustained it, I was a huge fan.
Kurt and Fabian excelled at that.
When Fabian's run ended he did a Baron Zemo mini that was excellent. Felt like a wonderful end point for that character.

I wish I’d gotten video of it, but did you know that if you play a card on Castle Zemo to send it over to your opponent’s side and then play Man-Spider he will still gobble it up and gain the power?
Seems like a slick way to not have to worry about the downside of the location!
