I deactivated my fetlife account in protest of harassment and abuse on their platform.

It has to stop. We are being harassed and then persecuted by fet for reporting said harassment. #WhatTheFet

This whole thing is really troubling.
Short version: POC users are being punished by the site for screenshotting harassing DMs and disseminating them.

The POC part is important, because I literally did this same thing when I got harassed on the site and this didn't happen to me.

I've always known that I have strong addictive tendencies. I tend to go in binge cycles with which forum online is my favourite. Thanks to #WhatTheFet I'm noticing that I use Fetlife probably a lot too much these days. It's funny how different places feel safe for different reasons.
