#WTForms
#100DaysOfCode Day 62 - Today was making a Cafe Review website from scratch. I used Flask, WTForms, and Bootstrap.

The site reads and writes the fields from a CSV. I'm also using validators to check that data exists and that the URL is in the correct regex format.

#100DaysOfCode Day 61 - I manage to step away from the Raspberry Pi development for a moment to finish out day 61. We learned how to build forms using WTForms manually, then was shown how to do the same with bootstrap-forms.

Definitely far quicker, though not quite as flexible.

This took way too long because WTForms wants form fields to be class attributes and this isn't very easily done if you want to determine possible choices at runtime.

i tried to let VScode vibe code a wtforms reCAPTCHA for me and ended up with TWO bugs, one of which I missed in prod for two months. so embarrassing. never letting it write more than one line for me again

Spent a wet Saturday learning some flask with this course on LinkedIn learning.

Really good i though and covered Jinja templating, WTForms, SQLAlchemy, Matplotlib/Plotly, vercel deployment.

If you're on LI the course should be free for a while with the link below (hopefully)

Every technical blog post should have this link up top...

'Shut up and take me to the code'

And the post in general from @chrishoina on tying your python/flask apps to @OracleREST (Oracle Database REST APIs)
