But they didn't do harassment. That's the most important difference. Unlike some of the people on the Viravos side of the fandom... And, of course, there are tons of other people hating on the ship.

Viravos fans hated me for shipping the wrong ships. But my new Claaravos community were hurting me without realizing. They constantly posted mean tweets about Viravos shippers and it slowly cut at me, bit by bit. Their hate was understandable but it felt all-consuming.

It's really lonely being both a Claaravos and a Viravos shipper. Both groups generally hate each other and what remains of Viravos fandom is teeming with antis. You'd think I could just gravitate towards the Claaravos fandom more, and I did initially. My old Viravos friends had left, the new

Buffy/Spike still holds a special place in my heart for messy enemies-to-lovers. Hannibal/Will. VoxVal, ValAngel, and Stolitz are my Hellaverse faves. Saurondriel. Reylo COULD have been, but I'm still bitter about that, same with Viravos. 😔Tough times out here for villainfuckers.
