Vic3のロード画面に「すべてを削除」なんてボタンが出来てから、いつかやりそうだなとは思ってた
でもいつか何か対策しようと思って何もしなかった
なので間違って押してプレイ中のデータとこれまでの完走記念データが全部消えた

Cool video. I'm not super interested in real-world history but a fantasy mod for something like EU4 or Vic3 is definitely appealing. Fantasy avoids that feeling of obligation to historicity. Gameplay and narrative have an easier yime agreeing when one isn't fixed in place.

but like, in ck3 and vic3 (and probably eu5) the deal of new expansions is “add new mechanics to the game/expand existing ones for mostly free” with the DLCs being “add more flavor content”, generally agreed upon as massively overpriced to subsidize the mechanical development

I've easily spent over $500 just on Guild Wars 2, but that's also over the span of twelve years. (Let's not talk about how much I spent on FFXIV for far less gametime spent. >_>) I can also add in all the EU4, HoI4, and Vic3 expansions I've bought. I can also easily say it was money well worth it.
theres a bunch of games i would never pay this much for but had i spent $500 on insert paradox game, subnautica, witcher 3, total war (this one i might’ve actually spent that much on), i would definitely get my values worth
I would like Gamers who participate in Discourse (extremely derogatory) to tell me what they think is a reasonable price to pay, on a per-hour basis, for entertainment. No more vibes, put a number on it.

Ck3 was pretty streamlined tbh. I havent played in a couple years tho idk how the dlc has altered that. I’ve heard similar about vic3

the problem is that vicky2 models political/revolutionary support based on abstract ideas of conciousness generated by events and lack of reforms, vic3 actually models the differing politics of different types of workers, labor vs ownership, shifts caused by technology etc

Escribí un artículo en Anait hace años que sigue siendo mi juicio al respecto porque han seguido haciendo lo mismo. Aunque en Vic3 está mucho mejor de lo que lo están haciendo con CK3.

This isn't really a problem for the newer games (CK3, Vic3, and upcoming EU5), as they use full unicode so it's just font support that is required, which is there now for nearly everything.
