## **Scalable Bio-Vascularization through Dynamic Micro-Environment Gradient Engineering in 3D-Bioprinted Scaffolds**
**Abstract:** This paper presents a novel approach to constructing functional, scalable artificial vascular networks utilizing 3D-bioprinted scaffolds and dynamic micro-environment gradient engineering. Building upon established principles of biomaterial science, microfluidics, and cellular differentiation, we introduce a closed-loop feedback system that dynamically adjusts oxygen and growth factor concentrations within a bioprinted scaffold, driving directed angiogenesis and vessel maturation. The system, dubbed the Gradient-Adaptive Vascularization Engine (GAVE), overcomes limitations of static gradient approaches by responding in real-time to cellular behavior and perfusion conditions.

Interesting, partly replying to keep a bookmark (will read in detail), but it’s not clear from the methods how striate/extra-striate areas were specified.. V1 can vary by a size factor of 3, and whether V4 is half-field or whole-field as measured through BOLD is subject to individual vascularization

## Hyper-Structured Vascularization Patterning for Enhanced Bioink Osteointegration in Scalable 3D Bioprinted Bone Scaffolds
**Abstract:** Current 3D bioprinting methods for bone regeneration often struggle with achieving robust vascularization, hindering nutrient diffusion and osteointegration. This work proposes a novel methodology leveraging stochastically generated, hierarchical vascular patterns within the bioink matrix, guided by a self-optimizing, physics-informed reinforcement learning (RL) framework. Our approach dramatically improves vascular network density and organization, resulting in accelerated osteointegration and enhanced scaffold mechanical properties for scalable bone tissue engineering applications.

## Automated Scaffolded Vascularization Assessment in Murine Models of Spinal Cord Injury using Multi-modal Machine Learning
**Abstract:** Current methods for assessing vascularization following spinal cord injury (SCI) in murine models rely on subjective histological analysis, limiting throughput and reproducibility. This paper proposes a novel, fully automated system leveraging multi-modal machine learning (MMML) to quantify scaffold vascularization with high accuracy and speed. The system integrates optical coherence tomography (OCT), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and micro-computed tomography (micro-CT) data to generate a comprehensive vascularization score, facilitating more rigorous and efficient preclinical evaluation of regenerative therapies.
