#VanVogt
Making art and comics and looking for work. I’m sure you’ve read it but in case others haven’t I’ll add a recommendation to your list - The Voyage of the Space Beagle by AE VanVogt was a big inspiration for Star Trek and its theme of tension between science and militarism is still all too relevant.

Great piece, who did it, where is it from? Looks to me like an illustration for an A.E. vanVogt novel, maybe World of Null A.

People need reassurance that life has meaning, and when all they see is confusion, lies, and stupidity, they get a sickness of the spirit which they cannot fight.

#VanVogt #sf

There is one book you HAVE to read in sci-fi. The Voyage of the Space Beagle by A E VanVogt is a brilliant read. A lot of the ideas in it played a big part in Star Trek. Please read it. It's on IA.

Emma's review of The Voyage of the Space Beagle
5/5: So glad the Goodreads Group Beyond Reality voted for this book. I enjoyed it a lot. Yes, some parts are dated, but others are oh still current, as these days too many people are refuting science ...
