#ASSA2026 : this AM—come grab a UCP display copy! We recommend (not require!) a $10 donation to the UCPress Foundation. If I’ve stepped away for a author meeting when you come by, use the QR code at the booth to donate, & feel free to grab any book that doesn’t have a reserved sign on front or back!
If you're escaping the Philly cold at #ASSA2026, why not drop into the exhibit hall and check out our stand for the latest Econ books to get your 2026 rolling. All books can be had for 40% off via our conference website: www.ucpress.edu/book-lists/a...

All of my books predate July 2021. Surely UCPress would have registered copyright! Something fishy's going on. Also, I read that in many (most??) case it will be *publishers* who get the money, not authors (or authors might get a tiny, ie royalty-size, percentage of the $3000)

Do you know what our rights are (I registered with the lawfirm some weeks ago) re journal articles? I was surprised journals like Representations (UCPress) were plagiarized by Anthropic (as opposed to T&F & Oxford journals who seem to have sold out authors). Is it the Press who has to be filing? OR?
