The other business drama of hers which is passable is #MyBargainQueen - it’s not amazing by any means, but I enjoyed it, & she has a nice connection with the ML (played by Lin Gengxin, the actor from #PrincessAgents & #TheLegendofShenLi)

Zhao Liying - like all actors - has some weaker roles, of which #Fei is one.
But she’s an absolute star of cdrama. She’s brilliant & subtle in #TheStoryofMinglan, perfect for the role in #LegendofLuZhen, & convincingly gritty in #WildBloom, & pretty badass in #PrincessAgents & #TheLegendofShenLi

😱 Zhao Liying is one of my absolute favourites!
She’s been in some dramas I can’t finish - like #LegendofFei & #BossandMe
But she was perfect in #TheStoryofMinglan, & very good in dramas like #TheLegendofShenLi & #LegendofLuZhen

was unsatisfactory - it was probably the case that they set it up for a future season that wasn’t immediately forthcoming, which was for sure an error of judgement (although we are finally getting a 2nd season of sorts - & for peeps who loved the leads we got #TheLegendofShenLi, which was therapy!)
