Chuck - I know you for your writing but had no idea you were a SysOp in the before times. Just posted a video of me getting Telegard running in an emulator a while back, searched "Telegard" for the hell of it, and found this.

I ran a BBS a million years ago on a software package called Telegard. A couple years back I was delighted to get the software running in an emulator. Bring back the ANSI, I say.
