FAMM is by far the largest #fossil database (~3400 specimens), including 3 #Whale 🐋 species, #PolarBear 🐻‍❄️, #Walrus, 6 #Seal species 🦭, and the Steller's Sea Cow.

FAMM is also the FIRST fossil database to harmonize #Radiocarbon ☢️, #StableIsotopes ⚛️, and #AncientDNA 🧬 at the specimen level!

It was fun presenting a poster on #veganic #agroecology & chairing a session on #OrganicMatter in agricultural #soils at the #DBG2025 conference this week in Tübingen. Looking forward to the excursion tomorrow, before our #BaySISS summer school on #StableIsotopes starts @bayceer.bsky.social.
📢The #DBG2025 program has ended today, but some excursions to explore the soils in the Tübingen area will still be offered tomorrow🏞️.
We wish all participants a safe journey and a nice weekend! See you all next time at #DBG2027!
