Ganz oft, wenn ich am Vormittag im Haus meiner Eltern oben in meinem Arbeitszimmer arbeite, habe ich massive Probleme mit dem Internet. Speedtest bei fast null, machmal kann nicht mal der Server erreicht werden. Und das beim Glasfaser-Wifi UND beim LTE.

I have XGS-PON service. 10Gb/s bitrate split up to 32x. Access chassis served 2x 10GbE uplinks to GWR w/ ~8x 10GbE links to the core. I have ludicrous 7Gb² service and yet by some miracle can reliably hit >5Gb speedtest to the local server despite nearly saturating any single link.

Well that's a Cloudflare DNS server, if they're not keen on being pinged or there's a disruption in the routes to that server that can explain problems sometimes. The routing could be fucked or the ISP could be having issues ofc.
I like using speedtest etc myself. You could also try using 8.8.8.8.

Last time I updated my UniFi U7 Pro, my Wi-Fi performance absolutely tanked. I think it was like a couple of megabits per second down on 6 Ghz.
Updated it now to 8.0.19 and it seems to work fine. 780/719 on my iPad Pro (Wi-Fi 6E, 6 Ghz) using a public speedtest server. Enough for me.

Die meisten #Speedtest-Server sind für unsere #Fiber7 Anschlüsse mit 25Gbps zu langsam. Ein zeitgemässer Server für #Speedtest braucht eine 100Gbps Anbindung.

having a weird issue with a 10Gb interface on a server. the interface gives perfect speeds using iperf, but a web-based speedtest like librespeed or openspeedtest just refuses to go faster than about 400Mbps
