#SkyCap
I dropped my mom at the airport this morning and I said ‘just use a Skycap’ and she replied ‘I don’t have any cash’. It was *the best’. ‘Okay mom, it’s a long trip, so remember, make this money last…’

Great Christmas)

Rush Hour has so many great lines.

"Put your own bag in the back, I am not a skycap"

The video seems to be inconclusive, at best. Still, some are asking whether ANOTHER Will Reichard field-goal attempt struck a Skycap wire.

Hiawatha! Find a friendly skycap who who will insist that you and your bike board first. It‘s a great way to start the journey, as there are no customer service agents at their desks until 6 am - and this is the (nearly empty) 6:10 to Milwaukee. N.B. No cafe car! Ugh.

Fuckin skycaps are the judgiest people on earth. Oh, they smile and take your bags, but you can see it in their eyes. Nothing but contempt for those too weak to not ship dirty underwear home (which is always a nice souvenir when you return). They talk to their skycap buddies and then . . .(1/376)

So over all if Southwest's changes...$50 for 'early bird', no skycap, crowded flights... just done with them.

I've only been to NYC once & it was decades ago. Young & stupid, I took my chances. Simply asked the skycap for rec. ha. Some quick tourist sight-seeing & shopping was my agenda - safe & low cost as possible. The hotel was ok, near Times Sq which I didn't realize what rep it was at the time.

He’s so pro-cop, former “Week In Review” host Joel Weismann once mistakenly described him as “a former cop” on air. He was literally a Southwest Airlines skycap at Midway Airport before being elected alderman.
Alderperson Ray Lopez visited no fewer than three police districts to schmooze with cops for National Night Out today. He shared a thrilling collection of photos from each.

Skycap line in LA. Woman and her son get in line behind me. Son’s complaining that he doesn’t have his ski gear. Mom says, “Dude, I’ll get you new stuff at the ski shop.”

Immediately knew I was standing in front of Jodie Foster and her son she had surprised with a ski trip.

Likely true. I once worked as an airport skycap woned by Jehovah's Witnesses and they didn't work on, I think Saturday, so we all had to. Made good money though.

Oof, that's what we used to call an "pulling an OJ" before the whole murder thing, based on his rental car commercials. I tried to do that once and had to hail down a skycap cart while I had a full blown asthma attack. At least they didn't send you to A 🤣

The language reminds me of OJ Simpson explaining what he usually did when preparing for a trip; what bags he usually took, and what was usually in them; who his limo driver usually was, and how important it was to have the correct bills for skycap tips.
This is what I said over there indirectly to Healy, via quote RT.

Friend: Just Venmo'd the airport curbside guy for hauling their bags.

Us: “Wait... why does it say you Venmo’d someone $5 with the caption ‘💪 sweaty help’?”

Tip your skycap hero privately with #Radium. 🙈✈️

He’s so pro-cop, Joel Weismann mistakenly called him a former cop back on a previous iteration of “Week In Review.”

He literally went from Southwest skycap to alderman.

I sat and watch this skycap unfold for over an hour. It was magical 😊

the reason why thibs was so perfect for the knicks was because he was your perfect new york everyman. you see a little thibs in every cabbie, pizza chef, skycap, wall street trader, street meat vendor, and detective that you encounter in a normal day in manhattan
