f you have ever reported a colour-ringed Black-tailed Godwit, you have helped to establish connections that cross national and continental boundaries.
Here's how the Wash links to other sites.

Check out Robert Fournier’s great new paper in @esajournals.bsky.social - phenology, phenology, phenology! Link below, and comes with an interactive R ShinyApp: baydelta.shinyapps.io/Fish-Zooplan... #BayDelta #ClimateChange

@sethkjolly.bsky.social can say more but CHES seems like a good choice for this and has a shinyapp on their website to do some visualization as well. chesdata.shinyapps.io/Shiny-CHES/

We also built an Shinyapp interface that allows everyone to access our single cell and spatial datasets easily:

We envision our datasets will serve as a resource will provide insights for the cardiac and regeneration/fibrosis fields in the future!

Check out new ShinyApp for testing measurement invariance!

By Schemmerling, Kotzur, & Friehs. Out in Social Cognition

(I *love* how researchers create these, and share. Great service to field. Thanks!)
Automated Algorithmic Data Analysis for Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Invariance Assessment: A Tutorial for ACAMIA | Social Cognition
ACAMIA is a free, open-code, R-based tool that automates multigroup confirmatory factor analysis and measurement invariance assessment, which are crucial for social cognition research and beyond. ACAM...

frank corrigan had done this on a smaller scale (frankcorrigan.substack.com/p/where-shou...) and i decided to make it a shinyapp for my own use. i greatly expanded the existing metrics and added more for my interests.

Instead of testing for bias from potential misspecification of model restrictions, it's nearly optimal to adapt, averaging restricted and unrestricted estimates using data-driven weights. shinyApp: buff.ly/MmMdwf4 Paper: buff.ly/HsuV7ep

I did sign up for it yesterday, but didn't pluck around with it much. It has more deployment options, but you can't deploy a shinyapp from GitHub without creating a manifest? It also has a limit of 20 active hours for the free tier which is a downgrade, by 5 hours from shinyapps.io

Last step in getting shinyApp to autogenerate layers (find layers in geopackage |> create reactive data |> create observations |> display layer) is now working for the test layer. Soon, both known and unknown layers will be picked up via st_layers() and displayed automatically in the map 😁

I suppose this thing that's keeping me sane and all the people on here that have helped make it by answering my endless questions 🤣

From the logs, the answer looks self-explanatory*:

2025-09-15T13:40:11.339845+00:00 shinyapps[15310658]: Container event from container-12389713: oom (out of memory)

* even after filtering the data supplied to the rmd from the shinyapp down from 34MB to 3MB :/

Shinyapp itself works great. Download button works. But the report doesn't compile. Gonna rejig with filtered data and see if that works.

Unexpectedly, we also found that circulating metabolites and lipids correlated with the mutations present in the AML cells. There is a ton of data to dig into with this study which is all available in the publication and in a Shinyapp. plasmalipids.shinyapps.io/AML_circulat...

Can recommend 😁

Though, ngl, it's a bugger redoing my shinyapp from leaflet to maplibre 🤣

Cool... got something working... can see how something like this would work in my shinyapp to allow selection of multiple road lengths so criteria for all selected could be updated in one pass. Sweet 😁

Cheers Kyle/Mike

Looks like I'm continuing with my shinyapp. 10-1 says I end up selling it to the same LGA I tried to give away for free*.

Okay, taking a while, but shiny app coming along nicely... very addictive learning and so much like writing JavaScript but in R it's spooky 😂

Much thanks to Eddie for doing this -- and check out his shinyapp projection tool linked in the post. (And admire how Mastodon allows this conversation to take place across platforms)

Neat. I unfortunately don't speak shinyapp. If you do this I would be interested! No pressure
