I haven’t worked in house with ServiceCloud for a few years now, but generally speaking I enjoyed it. However, chat support was one area that left a lot to be desired back then. We ended up switching to multiple different chat solutions over time as a result.

Should I switch to Zendesk or similar?

Send a ticket into ServiceCloud asking for an account to be set up on AAD. Email reply back telling me it’s been put on hold as pending until I answer something. Only gotcha is said queue is privileged and you can’t even read what they said on your own ticket. As much use as a cow on stilts…
