Vibe coding is when schizophrenia gives you “vibes” (messages from god) and you code your own Christian OS

That's more reasonable, depending on the medicinal reasons and whether or not it's on the NHS. Soft drugs can also be problematic requiring longterm NHS care - cannabis induced schizophrenia for example so as long as there are safeguards with that, I'll remain neutral. Not for, not against.

Contract signed!!

My latest short story, MARGINS, will appear in Lightspeed Magazine.

Following a psychiatrist with ‘empathic’ schizophrenia where he takes on his patient’s symptoms, with Margins, I continue to bring a little horror to the sci-fi medical thriller.

Nope. Of COURSE there are higher rates of anxiety in the population right now! I'd be more concerned if there wasn't!
Schizophrenia is still genetically linked (about 2% of the populace) but often over-diagnosed (wrong diagnosis) in ER's and medical appointments in the context of substance use.

The way to tell you need the schizophrenia pills is if you still see the ad when your computer is unplugged.

I have no idea what people mean when they use the word "schizophrenia" in contexts like this. Even if the writer intended some reference to "multiple personalities", I still don't understand how that maps to the rest of the paragraph.

I have to stress how much people with a schizophrenia diagnosis can change over time. The weird fucking thing I have observed as I get older is men tend to become more “normal” while women tend to become more…not socially normal. In general. Please don’t come at me it is a personal anecdote.

I think everybody going for any sort of degree in the mental health should have to live for a few months in a commune with various neurodivergent people and observe us in our natural habitat. The idea that someone with schizophrenia is ALWAYS in deep psychosis and never has “organized” thoughts…
A CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST testifying ON THE STAND AT A COMPETENCY HEARING that because a man could answer questions about court procedure at a previous interview, but at this one he said he couldn’t concentrate, that means he is “uncooperative”

wtf do they even teach in psych school? Just ableism?
