13 years ago, the Inter-American Court ruled in favor of the Sarayaku People, recognizing Ecuador's violation of their rights by allowing extractive activities without Free, Prior and Informed Consent. Since then, Ecuador has repeatedly failed to comply with the Court’s orders.
