I can’t look at these and not be reminded of the Sandcrawler in Star Wars, 😆.

Daydreaming about a truck boost then building a Jawa Sandcrawler in my backyard.

Whether you take a Landspeeder, a Sandcrawler, or a Skyhopper...Get yourself to the IATSE Blood Drive on Sunday, May 4th at the Costume Designers Guild for an out-of-this-world lifesaving event.

I can't be the first person to make this observation but... why is Hotels.Com trying to put me up in a Jawa sandcrawler.

12 years ago on the Thursday of Burning Man, in the middle of a dust storm, in the shadow of a Sandcrawler, @GaskillJgraham kissed me, and the one-night-stand has been going ever since. #besthookupever

The Sandcrawler or the Ewok Village (I want this one to build with my wife)

The "Death Star Droid" design was taken wholesale from a Ralph McQuarrie painting of the Death Star, but this guy with the silver finish, 3B6-RA7, was actually seen in the sandcrawler. The one seen briefly on the Death Star (5D6-RA7) was the same costume painted black.

Free idea for a new Star Wars series:

An Eyes Wide Shut style sexual thriller that takes place entirely inside a Jawa sandcrawler.

So far no, but the same reason I’ll be getting it.

It’s hard to tell if this is a new one or the same from the UCS Sandcrawler and 2012 X-Wing.

I'm aware of three.js, but thought instead to try and implement 90's-era 3D routines on top of HTML5/Canvas. So it still has bugs that I can't seem to find. (But you get the idea.)

It’s like a Walmart sized warehouse of old, used, & junked electronics &. devices, machines & equipment. Row after row of parts, pieces, panels, you name it all categorized & sorted into bins. A box of flip switches, coaxial wires… it’s like what I imagine the inside of the Sandcrawler looked like

My Owen Lars LEGO minifigure has arrived from a Bricklink seller in Denmark. It's fairly rare, as only two Owen Lars minifigures have ever been released by LEGO. This is the original from the 2005 set 10144 Sandcrawler. It was updated 2014 in the 75059 Sandcrawler set.

I always thought the sheer SCALE of the frontispiece of the sandcrawler was amazing. Really gives you a deeper sense of just how large a Sandcrawler is meant to be, and being such a huge section actors can interact with just sells it further. True movie magic!
I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen this particular image before. I’ve seen many of this behind the scenes, but not this photograph. #starwars #anewhope #filmmaking #behindthescenes🎬

Oh, I love it to death, I just happened to find its flaws a lot harder to overlook this rewatch.

Stuff like the inside of the sandcrawler and the cantina scene are still remarkable.

I DO think it's funny how much Hamill and Fisher level up their acting in Ep5 & 6.

Today I walked down to the Casa da Musica, Porto's mammoth performing arts venue. Built right around 2000, it's a marvel of engineering. Unfortunately it's also a post-Brutalist concrete and glass... thing that looks like a lopsided Jawa sandcrawler. Brutalism had its day. In the 1950s.

Also the Jawas in the parade were circus themed this year, which was very cute. They had big old timey circus signs on their big ass sandcrawler complete with flying trapeze Jawas with "the greatest show on Tattoine"
