The usage of the term "Rojhelat" is such a cynical deployment of Kurdish nationalism to attempt to divide and weaken Iran. Israel doesn't want a strong democratic Kurdish state, they want Turkey, Iran, Iraq, and Syria trapped in a cycle of civil war and mutual ethnic cleansing.

We, the Women of Kurdistan (Rojhelat), strongly condemn the massacre and brutal suppression of the protests of Dey 1404, particularly the violent repression of the defenseless people of llam and Kermanshah. These protests are a continuation of the "Jin, Jiyan, Azadi" movement, movement that centers social life, livelihoods, and the right to live with dignity, and that today continues in the streets and neighborhoods across Iran. What is unfolding in Iran is the result of violent and systematic policies aimed at preserving power: policies that treat peaceful protest as a threat and seek to silence the cry for life through bullets and imprisonment. Those who have taken to the streets in response to economic crisis and structural discrimination are neither "rioters" nor "security threats"; they are the bearers of the demands of the "Jin, Jiyan, Azadi" movement, the right to live with freedom, equality, and human dignity. The Jina movement taught us that freedom arises from collective will, and that to halt the cycle of repression, society must be conscious, united, and organized. Women in Kurdistan were at the forefront of this movement, and the protests in llam, Kermanshah, and other cities of Kurdistan are a continuation of that same path. As women who have always stood on the front lines of the struggle against religious despotism, we know how this political structure targets bodies, lives, and voices, especially those of women, and how the suppression of protests is the continuation of a policy that began with gender discrimination, the exclusion of women from power, and the denial of equal participation, and has now culminated in street-level repression. We, the Women of Kurdistan reaffirm our unconditional solidarity with all those who courageously stand up for their rights, and we believe that the right to protest, to organize, and to self-determination are inalienable rights. We regard silence in the face of state violence as complicity. Every bullet fired and every arrest carried out is evidence of the rulers' fear of a conscious and united society. History shows that authoritarian regimes do not collapse easily, but neither can they survive through violence. Freedom, though costly, will be achieved through sustained and resolute struggle, because it is rooted in the collective will of a people no longer willing to remain silent or submit. A free and democratic future will emerge from conscious resistance, social solidarity, and the struggle for equality and justice.
