Since Refern closed down I have attempted several solutions for moving all my ref material elsewhere. Pinterest is making it difficult, and for maybe obvious reasons they probably would kill a quarter of the images in this gallery anyway, so I, for lack of options, uploaded it to Drive for you all.

#Refern is shutting down. I myself found several photographs of minors in bath suits or lingerie and reported it. The accounts should be investigated and denounced. Also, AI was invading the plataform and that's also hard to moderate.

refern shutting down feels like a situation where a hobby app got too big.
It's understandable and important to shut down what harm is being generated on the app

Since this image board was SO POPULAR I moved it over to Refern and expanded it. It now has 515 images of outfits and adornments designed specifically to accent the sensuality of the male form in a masculine way (rather than a modified feminine way).

only recently did i actually start being responsible and amassing an organized reference collection on refern. as opposed to the overstuffed Mystery Cable Drawer that is my pinterest saves. so i can (hopefully) do proper studies on clothing styles and get better at improvising them over time

it serves a different purpose, i'll be using both together now ;D refern to keep all my ref images organized with easy tags, and pureref to put together specific reference boards for specific illustrations

I was poking around at the cosmos and refern apps (both have desktop sites i believe) because i'm annoyed with pinterest. no opinions on either yet but they could be good options to get away from the AI and false flagging

O refern é pelo navegador mas vc consegue "instalar" pelo Google ele como aplicativo
E o cosmos tem na Playstore e se vc usar ele no navegador, tem uma extensão que passa seus pins do Pinterest pra ele.
Eu tô usando os dois, ainda tô na transição pq tenho muito pin pra passar

I do wish Refern was offline. I really try to keep my resources and references in such a state that they’re relatively future proofed if a software or service goes belly up as so many seem to.

Après ça va fouiller uniquement dans les posts Bluesky donc c'est beaucoup moins fourni qu'un Pinterest actuellement. Si tu l'utilises beaucoup tu trouvera probablement pas tout ce que tu veux. Mais c'est très cool ! Si tu veux une autre alternative encore il y a aussi Refern
