(He also tends to cut off his memories and his "past self" with the exception of his traumatic death, reducing himself to the bubble of "here and now" as another coping/protective mechanism from the crushing despair of being technically dead *and* losing his freedom, autonomy and self-control.)
![When Pyke tells Ahri he only thinks "one foot ahead of [his] knife", it's not just a way to shrug her off. It's literal. Pyke is restrained from or purposefully shuts off his long-term experience of time and does not consider future for more than a few moments ahead, mostly in terms of "how can I secure the kill and get away". He acts like an instinct-driven predator despite retaining "advanced" mental capacity - he has a sense of humor, is able to experience empathy, guilt and grief, he's class-conscious and actively analyzes social structures. He's not stupid or "limited". I'm not interested in making challenge run videos, but Bounty Mode might be even easier, as you get free goodies for M4A1 early on, like Hammer, that outright stuns golems and a lot of common ANMCs. You also get Pyke before a boss that is very weak against it.

Moot actually looked it up and Yasuo/Pyke is a rarepair (makes sense, they don't interact much and don't have obvious similarities in LoL, and Ruined King is even specifically "an unlikely alliance coming together to kick Thresh in the spectral dick and stop the Runining")
