Great work by Chen et al. (2025) on introducing the tartronyl-CoA (TaCo) pathway into rice chloroplasts as a synthetic, carbon-positive photorespiratory bypass to enhance CO2 fixation efficiency and increase biomass, grain yield and grain size in rice 🌾. #PlantBiotechnology

Oh wow. I got the 8th Edition in German 'Stryer Biochemie' about 8 years ago at the end of my Bachelor's in Plantbiotechnology. Such an important book.

I feel like it's the book I will come back to again and again during my life.

One of the few textbooks that I commonly mention with friends.
