This past Friday, Open Shop, we did a special Lap-Style Weaving day. Folks came, some with looms, some from here. We demonstrated ours, tried all, we favorited all, we had fun.

This fleece is from Shetland x Cheviot , she was born black and has gradually turned white. Still has patches of grey. This will become a pegloom rug.

As a quadruple amputee, my problem solving skills are frequently put to the test. Here's one example: a new threading tool from threading loops for hairstylists (to allow beads to be added to hair) plus a foam tube for grip. #QuadrupleAmputee #ProblemSolving #Weaving #PegLoom

Another bit of problem solving: using pegs to hold excess warp and to prevent the warp sliding off. Most peg loom weavers loop and slip knot the warp from what I can see, but that is very difficult for me. #QuadrupleAmputee #PegLoom #Weaving
