I'm of the strong belief that pxp guys shouldn't be able to call postseason games for the teams they cover.
I don't know if it's just me being picky or what, but praise of the Dodgers by Joe Davis always seems so much more emphatic than of the opponents.

Thanks again to Retrosheet (invaluable). There are 49 GIDPs in MLB history (in games where PxP is logged) where an OF was involved.
All are weird. Rundowns may be the most common. Ralph Garr hit into a 4-3-6-3-8-3 DP in 1973.

My favorite thing about ESPN’s broadcast is how they delay the video so the audio is slightly ahead of the play. You hear the goal call before the puck goes in. It’s like PxP from the future.
