Same with the TesIa protests taking place around here for months. Lots of older people.
This is the sign that moved me most today. The simple message. The homemade lettering. She seemed tired, but resolute.
Saw so many people from that generation today. People whose parents lived through WWII, who know what fascism looks like, and who may not be around to see us get out of this.

I hope sharing some of these more in-depth lists of great games I've put together really spurs some folks to discover some older games they will come to love.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with sticking to modern games, but there's also a lot of fun in discovering where their ideas came from!

I am old but I vote with my adult son (30's) in mind. So I vote for more housing, public transit, etc. You can get older voters to vote for younger candidates if you campaign on that - most of us have kids who can't afford to buy a home.

At “No Kings” rally I attended today, I mostly saw older folks (50+) but it might be because younger folks are working too much for too little to attend.

A crazy thing about growing older is watching a movie and feeling like "Yes, this movie takes place now and everything in it is normal and it always will be" and then decades later watching that same movie and being like "this is such a time capsule and I can't believe this was normal"

yeah. and, like, there's arguments for using other stuff on older found and recycled hardware. mx linux xfce or mint cinnamon are both good examples of that, and great for amping up an older laptop that would struggle with kde, much less modern windows, but kde is great on modern hardware.

It was the biggest gathering yet. With each protest more and more are making their voices heard. It’s not just the older generation now. Parents w/their brethren, a sprinkling of twenty-somethings, inflatable animal costumes everywhere. It was a lighthearted scene with a serious purpose.

There was no stereotype in what I said. Statistics show younger people do not vote anywhere near the rate of older people. That is a fact. And if you want to change how things work you need to vote and run great candidates more your age. It's absurd how old Congress is. Mamdani is a rarity.

For Wuwa, they don't have to reset everything but we can get improved scenes maybe? And older players can get a point to skip to the added scenes? Just in case they wanna see? Or maybe a replay option too like an archive if we want to.

Like it'd be great to have a better intro of Lingyang, Yuanwu, etc. since it was jarring seeing them in the assemble part.
Epic Seven improved their older episodes by resetting everyone's progress and players can replay it again and get rewards again (but we got more rewards for the trouble) +
