Hotel IX is a boutique hotel located in the historic and trendy Nine Streets (Negen Straatjes) district in the center of Amsterdam (NL).
The hotel consists of five uniquely designed, luxurious suites.
Each suite is named after one of the nine streets in the neighborhood ❤️😊

Musk’s Toxicity Tanking Tesla in Europe Précis of Carlton Reid’s article Once-Devoted Tesla Fans Ditch Their Cars Even the most loyal Tesla supporters in Europe are abandoning their Teslas. Jon Gibbs, who runs the world’s largest Tesla inventory site, now drives a BMW iX. Tim Kraaijvanger, founder of Tesla360.nl, sold his Model Y for a Polestar. Their reason? Musk’s support for far-right politics, his Nazi-like salute, and his general toxicity. Sales Plummet Across Key European Markets Tesla’s European sales are in freefall. In Norway, where EVs dominate, Tesla sales dropped 37.9% last month. France saw a staggering 63.4% decline. Spain was even worse, with a 75.4% plunge. Tesla is becoming a liability on the road, with social media filled with images of vandalized Teslas, some defaced with Swastikas or anti-fascist graffiti. Activists and Businesses Reject Tesla European activists have escalated their anti-Tesla campaigns. UK group Led by Donkeys, in collaboration with Germany’s Center for Political Beauty, projected an image of Musk’s Nazi-style salute onto Tesla’s Berlin gigafactory with the word ❝Heil❞ next to it. Meanwhile, ❝Everyone Hates Elon❞ distributes anti-Tesla stickers, mocking Musk’s fascist leanings. Even Shareholders Are Losing Faith Tesla shareholders are starting to waver. Icelandic investor Karen Róbertsdóttir, once a staunch Tesla supporter, publicly declared she can no longer defend the company. Dutch pension fund ABP sold its €782 million Tesla stake, while Poland’s sports minister called for a nationwide Tesla boycott. Germany’s Rossmann chain and energy firm LichtBlick have removed Tesla from their fleets, citing Musk’s far-right affiliations. Rivals Benefit as Tesla’s Reputation Crumbles Polestar’s German CEO confirms an influx of ex-Tesla customers disgusted by Musk’s politics. Tesla’s outdated models and pricing issues only add to the problem. Across the EU, Tesla sales fell 13% in 2024, and Germany saw a 59.5% year-over-year drop in January alone. With 31% of Dutch Tesla owners considering selling their vehicles and 40% embarrassed to be seen driving one, the numbers paint a grim future. Musk’s descent into MAGA extremism isn’t just tanking his personal reputation — it’s driving Tesla into the ground.
