This chap was in the trap this morning (in Anglesey). I'm a bit baffled. Could it be Butterbur Moth, Hydraecia petasites?

Anyone know what this is? 5-6cm long, southern England. One of the biggest moths I've seen.

I am a birder. I do not know my moths. Anyone know what this guy is? Wingspan is about 2.5 - 3 inches at the widest point. His coloration seemed more of a sandy color than what my phone captured.
