Been filling in holes in my B/X and 1E collections, as evidenced by #mailcall.

It pisses me off when people don’t list their modules on eBay as reprints when they are indeed reprints. Just make it easy, please?

#ConeCertified Day 15 - Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes

Communicate with your friends in order to defuse a bomb in form of various puzzles and mechanics!

I would love to play more if it, maybe even get into modded modules, but nobody (hah) has really taken genuine interest 😔

I went to the Southeast Punk Flea Market today and scored Magical Kitties Save the Day. Anyone need a like-new copy for a holiday gift on the cheap?

I grabbed the DCC Lankhmar modules at a local store on the way home.

Non-core microbes show strong heterogeneous selection between modules, with environmental filtering creating phylogenetically distinct communities, and more drift within modules.
So non-core modules reflect environmental sorting; core modules reflect stochastic turnover among similar taxa.

To link structure with process, we quantified the roles of heterogeneous and homogeneous selection, dispersal limitation, and ecological drift.
We found contrasting patterns:
Core microbes are dominated by ecological drift, both within modules and between them.

One clear pattern: core and non-core microbes form distinct network structures.
Core microbes → few big modules.
Non-core microbes → many small, fragmented ones.
Common taxa spread across many hosts, while rarer ones form localized host–microbe pockets across the landscape.

When I started my CS degree in 2011, one of the first modules I had to take in my first year was called 'Introduction to Electronic Content Origination', where we had to work in groups to create a video in Second Life using open source software.

I've never used Second Life again.

That has been the other 95% of modules I've had to deal with

Meet our experts at #SC25!
Benedikt leads the division HPC, Cloud & Data Systems & Services at JSC. His focus in the last years was the procurement & installation of JUPITER & its different modules. Future focus will be JARVIS, the to-be-deployed inference cloud.

I think using campaign frames and Fronts is a great approach! But since DH's launch I have had more than a couple of people ask me specifically if there were going to be more robust adventure modules because they want to play DH but need more structure to be comfortable GMing the game.

Doesn't Monster of the Week, an iconic PBtA game, come with an Adventure in it? I feel like I remember seeing that when I read it?

A lot of GMs like having adventure modules so they don't have to invent the entire adventure. The discussion is around how to keep the collaboration regardless.

I know nothing about SFP modules, but an optical SFP+ module is way less complicated than a 10Gb SFP+ module which is way less complicated than a 10/5/2.5/1Gb SFP+ module. Then there's the number of optical vs copper modules sold. I'd guess it's at least 1000:1. So manufacturing cost + volumes.

Most of the songs are familiar, having also been used in other contexts, such as in adverts.

The song Do-Re-Mi was used in one of my Open University modules as part of their introduction to music. www.youtube.com/watch?v=drnB...

Maybe they thought it’s far enough and safe there. Maybe they don’t think enough anyway. Maybe they are too busy elsewhere. Maybe they still have launchers, but no more other system modules to add them to. They are running out of radars too. Look forward to hearing the actual outcome.
